## What GSCOP Is
The Groceries Supply Code of Practice is mandatory UK legislation governing trading relationships between large grocery retailers (those with annual UK grocery turnover over £1 billion) and their direct suppliers. GSCOP prevents retailers from making retrospective contract changes, demanding payments without reasonable notice, transferring costs to suppliers unreasonably, or delisting without proper warning. It is enforced by the Groceries Code Adjudicator (GCA).

## The 14 Designated Retailers Covered by GSCOP
Tesco, Sainsbury's, Asda, Morrisons, Aldi, Lidl, Waitrose, M&S Food, Co-op, Ocado, Iceland, B&M, Amazon, TJ Morris. All retailers with UK grocery turnover exceeding £1 billion.

## International Suppliers
GSCOP applies to every direct supplier of a designated UK retailer regardless of where that supplier is based. Suppliers in Europe, Asia, the Americas and elsewhere have full legal protection under GSCOP.
